Bentley Mk VI cars in South Africa (1946 to 1952)

Only 28 of the 4 1/4 litre Mk VI's were exported to South Africa, no 4 1/2 litre's and
one R-Type (The later incarnation of this car). In addition to this, some cars were also
privately imported, and 6 were delivered to Southern Rhodesia. Rolls-Royce Silver
Dawn's are even more rare, with just 761built, of which only about 200 were
right-hand drive. Just 2 Silver Dawn's were delivered new to South Africa,
and a further 2 to Southern Rhodesia.
